If you want to learn about marketing outside of corporate life and work for a small business with big clientele, we want to talk to you. The marketing intern will focus on creating and executing a strategic marketing plan for a sister company. A regular day would involve content writing, advertising, marketing management, data analytics, and marketing research. We are looking for a candidate who loves external communication and thrives in a relaxed, modern-work environment.

Duties:

  • Research, develop, implement strategic marketing plan
  • Utilize the SWOT principle to research local competition 
  • Help maintain Company website, blog and social media accounts
  • Gain experience with website content writing and search engine optimization
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns which support:
    • Social Media advertising
    • Print media/Direct mail
    • Multimedia advertising
  • Utilize and develop professional communication skills
  • Gain knowledge with client brand management
  • Assist in tracking marketing efforts through analytics and other resources
  • Designed, sourced, and distributed print marketing materials
  • Participate in the planning of company events, including: marketing meetings, sales meetings, and other special events
  • Support with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Must have completed one (1) year of either an Associate’s program or Bachelor’s program with an emphasis on Communication (of any kind) or Marketing
  • Ability to work up to 20 hours per week
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and take direction
  • Must be able to work at our Stevens Point office
