Security Analyst Internship

The Security Analyst Intern will work directly with our expert staff, monitoring systems for suspicious activity, identify vulnerabilities, and implement security measures to mitigate risks. The Security Analyst Internship position offers on-the-job training and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology.

Duties:
- Monitor our environment for security threats
- Evaluate code for potential vulnerabilities
- Utilize and help implement Endpoint protection systems
- SIEM monitoring and analysis
- Provide technical support for vulnerability assessments
- Assist security staff in conducting vulnerability assessments
- Help compile reports and assessment documents from security work
- Assist security staff in analyzing existing security systems and make recommendations for changes or improvements
- Help perform Blue/Red team tasks as assigned
- Travel to client sites (10% to 15%) for on-site assessments and implementations
Qualifications:
- Must have completed two(2) semesters of coursework with an emphasis on; IT Computer Support Specialist, IT Network Specialist, IT Software Developer, security specialist or Computer
- Information Systems
- Ability to work from twenty (20) to forty (40) hours per week
- Willingness to learn, grow, and take direction
- Ability to view a computer screen for long periods of time
- Experience with Google suite a plus
- Linux experience a plus
