Duties:

  • Monitor our environment for security threats
  • Evaluate code for potential vulnerabilities
  • Utilize and help implement Endpoint protection systems
  • SIEM monitoring and analysis 
  • Provide technical support for vulnerability assessments
  • Assist security staff in conducting vulnerability assessments
  • Help compile reports and assessment documents from security work
  • Assist security staff in analyzing existing security systems and make recommendations for changes or improvements
  • Help perform Blue/Red team tasks as assigned
  • Travel to client sites (10% to 15%) for on-site assessments and implementations 

Qualifications:

  • Must have completed two(2) semesters of coursework with an emphasis on; IT Computer Support Specialist, IT Network Specialist, IT Software Developer, security specialist or Computer
  • Information Systems
  • Ability to work from twenty (20) to forty (40) hours per week 
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and take direction
  • Ability to view a computer screen for long periods of time
  • Experience with Google suite a plus
  • Linux experience a plus
