We are searching for a candidate with a creative streak, interested in helping us tell a story and keen attention to detail to join us as an Animator Intern!

If you want to learn about animation outside of corporate life and work for a small business with big clientele, we want to talk to you. Our animation intern will be primarily focused on creating custom animated content. A regular day would involve using a variety of software to create storyboards, custom animation, sync audio and video, and produce final versions of video content meant for public distribution.

 We are looking for a candidate who loves being creative and thrives in a relaxed, modern-work environment.

Duties:

  • Create engaging animation based on scripts and outlines provided
  • Keep all working files organized and available for peer review 
  • Distill outlines and scripts into storyboards 
  • Present storyboards and discuss animation ideas
  • Develop first draft videos and deliver them for review
  • Make changes to videos based on feedback
  • Sync recorded audio content to videos accurately
  • Deliver final draft videos for upload
  • Implement animation industry standards and best practices
  • Work with teams to develop future content and story ideas 
  • Participate in team meetings to meet marketing needs in the company
  • Support with other tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Must have completed one (1) year of either an Associate’s program or Bachelor’s program with an emphasis on animation or related skills
  • Ability to work up to 20 hours per week
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and take direction
  • Ability to view a computer screen for long periods of time 
  • Experience with Google suite a plus
